Morning Glory Farms is a family-owned and operated farm providing high-quality beef, pasture-raised in mid-Missouri. We are dedicated to improving the health of our family—and yours—through the food we eat.
The decision to raise primarily pasture-fed, along with grain, cattle for beef production was the direct result of a desire to improve the health of our own family through our diet. For years, our youngest child, Samuel, suffered from constant stomach pain, continuous sinus infections and extreme anxiety. In 2010, at the age of 7, he was diagnosed with severe allergies to gluten and dairy.
That’s when we began our quest to learn how to make the changes we needed in our home to improve the health of our family. With Tiffanie’s medical background as a registered nurse and guidance from a registered dietician, we started researching ways to improve health through our diet. That research led right to our own backyard—or more appropriately— pasture.
We knew we couldn’t know exactly what went into beef (a staple in our home) we bought from the store. But we knew we could control the diets of our own livestock. After extensive research, we discontinued the use of antibiotics and added hormones in our cattle. After transitioning our cattle to grass-fed, along with other dietary changes, we noticed improvements in Samuel; he began to tolerate dairy, had very few sinus infections, and even began to lose weight and grow in height. Furthermore, all of our skin became clearer. It wasn’t long after sharing our story with other families that we learned meat free from added chemicals was very desired in our area.
In 2016, Tiffanie left her full-time nursing job to devote more time to the farm. Daughters Allison and Kaitlen expressed interest in partnering in the endeavor, and Morning Glory Farms was formed. Now, our goal is to provide clean meat that is of the highest quality, antibiotic free, contains no added hormones and raised naturally, all without compromising flavor.
Morning Glory Farms is operated by Tim and Tiffanie Weekley, who have lived on the land since they were married in 1995. Tim is a 5th generation farmer and the land itself has been in the same family for more than 100 years. Tiffanie is a registered nurse and board-certified lactation consultant. Tim and Tiffanie have three children and two sons-in-law who are also integral parts of the farming operation.
We LOVE hearing from our customers. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a shout. Luckily for you, punctuality runs in the family. We pride ourselves on prompt responses.
Hi, I'm Tiffanie, owner of Morning Glory Farms.
Thank you for taking an interest in feeding your family better beef. As a nurse and lactation consultant, I have dedicated my life to helping people improve their health and wellness. Because of my medical background, I have a hard time believing anything unless it’s backed by science and research.
If it wasn’t for the changes I observed in my own family as a direct result of following a cleaner way of eating, I wouldn’t have believed it could have that great of an effect. But my husband, children and I are living proof. And we want to share this feeling with as many people as possible.
I wouldn’t sell anything I wouldn’t feed my own family.
Thanks, and God bless,
-Tiffanie
